What to tell the technician

Before repair work
Share the unit's brand and model if available, your location, and a photo of the unit. Ask about the inspection and proposed repair, and confirm the quote before work starts. If water is near electrical fittings or the unit appears unsafe, switch it off if you can do so safely and explain the risk when contacting the technician.
